The Shooting Mindset Academy

Where competitive sport shooters learn to accept, commit, execute and achieve

You can hit the target in training.

But as soon as the pressure’s on, it’s a different story.

You buy the best equipment you can afford, dedicate hours of your life to training, make continual ‘adjustments’ and despite the occasional competition success things often don’t go to plan.

So you wind up frustrated, chastising yourself for not training hard enough, for losing focus. “Just keep trying harder,” you tell yourself.

Your self-doubt gets louder.

Then the inevitable happens. Second-guessing, lots of small, never-ending changes, and a feeling of disillusion.

You’re left to wonder: Will this situation ever change?

I want you to know that things don’t have to stay this way.

I have developed a method based on my work with world-class performers that’s being utilised by sport shooters worldwide.

As the lead psychologist for Great Britain’s World Class Programme for 8 years, I supported the team to European, World and Olympic Success.

My goal is to teach this same method and more in The Shooting Mindset Academy.

I’m with my members all of the way.

Mental training has never been so accessible in shooting sports.

So if you want to learn how use your mindset to your advantage and make it a super-strength…

Here’s 3 great reasons to take action to transform your mental game

Your brain is getting in the way of performance

Let’s be honest, the noise in your mind or the physical feelings of stress, or both, really don’t help in any repeated skill sport such as shooting.

But knowing what to expect, and learning how to accept discomfort. Well that’s a different proposition altogether.

While discomfort is a normal part of high performance, knowing how to respond to it is where the real power lies. Imagine having the confidence of being able to respond with positive action to whatever your mind throws at you!

You have started to fear the worst in competition

… It might even disrupt your day to day life

Now I’m guessing shooting is very important to you, and a big part of your identity and life in general.

When the thing you love becomes something that you worry about, even when you’re not doing it, then it’s time to take action.

Get back to enjoying the sport you love and actually embracing the challenge ahead with an established mental method.

Shooters are reporting progress that they never felt possible in just 12 weeks.

You see the opportunity within mental training

You love shooting and you want to just have fun. You want to master it and progress, it’s addictive!

Having access to an approach that addresses both mindset and the context specific mental skills of shooting sports enables you to build your own bespoke method.

It’s possible for anyone to do when they are ready to commit to the work. My commitment is to long-term change not tricks that are only effective in the short term.

You can do this with expert support and community insight.

The Shooting Mindset Academy: A common language of mind

Minimise your psychological reasons for missing and develop your mental performance method.

Your mindset does not have to be an obstacle to your success.

You could even learn to make it your super-strength!

Are you ready to move on from not knowing what to expect when you shoot to normalising and learning how to respond to pressure?

Or to give up the futile battle of thought control to be able to perform with the discomfort that accompanies the path to improvement and success?

If you’ve grown tired of your brain disrupting your performance when you least want it to you need to develop a psychological routine that enables skill delivery in all situations.
