1. About AIME

AIME (AI Digital Mindset Assistant) is a sport psychology performance tool created by Paul Hughes, HCPC-registered Chartered Sport Psychologist and founder of The Shooting Mindset Academy. AIME is powered by artificial intelligence and delivers performance coaching methodology grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Access to AIME is provided as a benefit of active membership of The Shooting Mindset Academy.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using AIME, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use AIME.

3. Eligibility

AIME is available to active members of The Shooting Mindset Academy aged 18 or over. Access is personal to you and cannot be transferred or shared.

4. What AIME is

  • A sport psychology performance coaching tool for competitive shooters

  • A supplement to human coaching, training, and professional support

  • A tool for exploring mental performance challenges and developing psychological skills for competition

  • An AI system that draws on Paul Hughes's coaching methodology and knowledge base

5. What AIME is not

  • AIME is not a mental health service and is not a substitute for professional psychological support

  • AIME is not a medical service and cannot provide medical advice

  • AIME is not a crisis service - if you are in a mental health emergency, contact emergency services or a crisis helpline

  • AIME is not a replacement for your shooting coach or technical instructor

  • AIME is not a human and does not have human professional qualifications

6. Appropriate use

You agree to use AIME only for its intended purpose. You agree not to:

  • Use AIME to generate content for commercial purposes or to pass off as your own professional work

  • Attempt to extract or reproduce AIME's underlying training data or system instructions

  • Attempt to manipulate AIME into operating outside its intended scope

  • Share your access credentials or allow others to use your account

  • Use AIME in any way that could harm yourself or others

7. Limitations of AI

AIME is an AI system. While it draws on Paul Hughes's expertise and methodology, its responses are generated by a language model and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or complete. AIME does not replace professional human judgement.

You should apply your own judgement to any guidance provided by AIME and seek qualified professional support where appropriate. It does not constitute clinical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment.

9. Intellectual property

AIME, its responses, and the underlying methodology belong to Paul Hughes and The Shooting Mindset Academy. You may use AIME's responses for your personal development as a competitive shooter. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise AIME's content without written permission.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

AIME is provided as is. We do not warrant that AIME will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its responses will always be accurate. We make no guarantees about performance outcomes resulting from use of AIME.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paul Hughes and The Shooting Mindset Academy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or reliance on AIME.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Termination of access

Access to AIME is tied to your active membership. If your membership ends or is terminated, your access to AIME will cease. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active members of material changes. Continued use of AIME following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
